The John Grieve Centre for Policing and Community Safety is pleased to announce that they are offering a three year Professional Doctorate in “Policing, Security and Community Safety” as from Autumn 2007.

Applications are being taken for the October 2010 intake.

This course will allow officers, agents and other staff working in a law enforcement environment to reflect upon their practical knowledge within an academic framework. Attendance at six four-day residential weekend meetings will provide the outline for students to explore their own particular practice through discussion, intensive reading and reflective writing, providing both an intellectually and emotionally challenging format.
